Mirnyi, Oswald into Kremlin Cup final

MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) - Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Austria's Philipp Oswald have earned a spot in the Kremlin Cup doubles final after seeing off Denis Molchanov of Ukraine and Juan Sebastian Cabal of Colombia 7-6, 6-4 on 20 October, BelTA has learned.

Andrei Vasilevsky of Belarus and Chile's Hans Podlipnik Castillo were beaten by Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Antonio Sancic of Croatia 4-6 6-7 (4-7) in the quarterfinal. The Bosnian-Croatian duo will face Russia's Yevgeny Donsky and Andrei Kuznetsov in the semifinal.

In the women's singles event Aleksandra Sasnovich, ranked 100th in the world, lost to Russia's Darya Kasatkina (World No.28) 4-6, 3-6 in the quarterfinal. Vera Lapko (World No.167) was knocked out by Romanian world number 56 Irina-Camelia Begu 3-6, 6-4, 5-7.

The competitions at the Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Moscow will be over on Sunday, 22 October.
