MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Treat Huey of the Philippines have reached the doubles semifinal at the Estoril Open in Portugal, BelTA has learned.
In the quarterfinal the Belarusian-Filipino duo took a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Kyle Edmund of the UK and Frederico Ferreira Silva of Portugal. In the opener second seeds Max Mirnyi and Treat Huey cruised through the Italian duo of Thomas Fabbiano and Paolo Lorenzi 6-2, 6-3.
On Saturday, 30 April, Max Mirnyi and Treat Huey will face the U.S. tandem of Scott Lipsky and Eric Butorac. The other semifinal game will feature Polish Marcin Matkowski and Lukasz Kubot and the Croatian duet of Borna Coric and Franko Skugor.
The final singles and doubles events will take place on 1 May.
