MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – A major artist will headline the opening ceremony of the 2nd European Games, head of the ceremonies and cultural programs of the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC) Sergei Khomich told the media. BelTA has learned.
Traditionally, headliners are kept secret. “This is a major artist who has a big name in show business,” Sergei Khomich noted.
The show will feature stunning performances, eye-catching costumes and decorations, and also many well-known artists and rising stars from Belarus. “We will see them take on new roles, which will be interesting too,” he added.
“I can assure you that the opening and closing ceremonies will be a unique experience that will not be repeated any time soon. “To be a part of it is a rare opportunity which you should not miss,” Sergei Khomich said. You can watch the ceremony on TV but it is only at the stadium that you can feel the atmosphere, he is convinced.
The 2nd European Games will be held in Minsk on 21-30 June.
