MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – Belarus reached the Dynamic New Athletics final at the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 on 26 June, BelTA has learned.
Pouring rain caused several delays to the competitions at Dinamo Stadium on Wednesday.
Belarus took a confident win in the Women's Javelin Throw. Elvira Herman triumphed in the Women's 100m Hurdles. Belarus scored a total of 73 points.
Italy (57) and the Czech Republic (56) also qualified for the final.
Earlier, Ukraine, Germany and France had secured spots in the final.
The program is made up of nine events culminating with The Hunt, a winner-take-all mixed medley relay, on 28 June.
