Mini football tournament in Vitebsk to draw over 400 participants

VITEBSK, 12 November (BelTA) – The 27th International Mini Football Tournament Among Teams of Energy Industry Workers will bring together more than 400 participants in Vitebsk on 14-17 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the trade unions of Vitebsk Oblast.

The event is timed to the 75th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from Nazi invaders. Taking part in the competition will be 30 teams from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Latvia, Belarus, and Hungary. The program of the tournament also includes a competition among veterans (40 years and older).

The annual tournament has become a visiting card of Belarusian energy industry workers. The event was traditionally hosted by Novolukoml, but as the number of participants has increased, this year's tournament will be held in Vitebsk. The city will also welcome representatives of trade union federations of the participating countries.

The organizer of the event is the National Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Energy, Gas, and Fuel Industry Workers.
