MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) – The three Belarusian MAZ race trucks were among the eight fastest at the Silk Way Rally Stage 7, BelTA has learned.
The trucks crossed the finishing line almost at the same time. Aleksei Vishnevsky posted the sixth fastest time as he cleared the special section in 69 minutes, some 3 minutes off the stage winner. The racer remains in 11th position overall.
Alexander Vasilevsky came in 7th followed by Sergei Vyazovich.
This year's Silk Way Rally is running through Russia, Kazakhstan and China to wrap up at Xi'an on 22 July. The racers will travel a total of 9,599km, with special sections making up 4,094km.More about Sport
