MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – Max Mirnyi of Belarus won his hundredth ATP final, BelTA has learned.
Max Mirnyi and Philipp Oswald of Austria defeated Artem Sitak of New Zealand and Wesley Koolhof of the Netherlands 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 to win the tournament in New York.
On the way to the final Max Mirnyi and Philipp Oswald beat the Indian duo of Leander Paes and Purav Raja 6-3, 6-4, the French-Japanese tandem of Hugo Nys and Ben Mclachlan 4-6, 6-3, 10-5, and the American duo of Ryan Harrison and Steve Johnson 4-6, 6-4, 10-7.
The 40-year-old Max Mirnyi has played 95 doubles and four singles finals. He holds 51 doubles and one singles champion titles.
