Losses piling up for Dinamo Minsk

MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk lost to Dynamo Moscow 1-3 on the home ground on 16 October, making it the seventh defeat in a row in the 2018-19 KHL regular season, BelTA has learned.

After a goalless opening period, the hosts went in front in the 29th minute through Denis Osipov. Evgeny Kovyrshin then missed a good chance to extend the lead, and the visitor soon came out to level off. Vadim Shipachyov tied the game late in the second period.

In the 55th minute with teams playing 4-on-4, Miks Indrasis got the game-winner for Moscow. Minsk's chances were ended by an empty-net goal from Andrei Alexeyev.

With 11 points after 18 games Gordie Dwyer's men go 12th in the Western Conference.

The Bisons' coming road schedule will include games against Sibir Novosibirsk on 20 October, Barys Astana on 22 October and Avangard Omsk on 24 September.

Dinamo Minsk will play their next home game against Amur Khabarovsk on 29 October.
