MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) – The list of international sports events scheduled to take place in Belarus in 2017 has been expanded by five events, according to Council of Ministers' Resolution No.328 of 3 May 2017, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
According to the document, the 19th Belarusian Helicopter Open Championships will take place on 25-30 June.
The 7th international beach football tournament Friendship Cup 2017 will run from 28 June to 3 July.
The 2017–18 ISU Junior Grand Prix event is scheduled for 18-24 September.
The list has also included the 1st FIDE World Cadets Rapid & Blitz Chess Championships 2017 (on 1-5 June) and the European Youth Draughts Championship 2017 (on 31 July-9 August).
The resolution comes into effect on the day of its official publication.
