International eSports tournament in Minsk 25 November

MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – The international tournament FCDB Cup'17 will kick off in Minsk on 25 November for such eSports titles as Counter Strike: Global Offensive and FIFA 18, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian eSports Federation.

The competitions will take place at two custom-built venues at Falcon Club. The tournament will draw together eight teams in CS: GO and sixteen players in FIFA 18.

“We held two nationwide eSports tournaments over the last three months. Minsk will host an international event in November. Our tournament offers a wonderful opportunity to spend the weekend and watch the battle of professional eSports teams,” Chairman of the Belarusian eSports Federation Denis Bogush said.

In turn, Development Director of FC Dinamo Brest Victor Radkov remarked that eSports are a new direction of the club's community outreach program.

The FCDB Cup'17 prize pool reaches $50,000.

The event is organized by FC Dinamo Brest and the Belarusian eSports Federation.
