Hammer thrower Anna Malyshchik 10th at IAAF World Championships London 2017

MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) – Belarusian hammer thrower Anna Malyshchik finished 10th at the IAAF World Championships London 2017, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian opened with 72.79m in the qualifying, but mistakes in the final made it 69.43m for Belarus.

A throw of 77.90m brought gold to Anita Wlodarczyk of Poland. Silver went to Zheng Wang of China (75.98m), with bronze being collected by Poland's Malwina Kopron (74.76m).

Belarusian javelin thrower Tatyana Kholodovich has advanced to the final in the 11th position.

Belarus Five TV channel is broadcasting the competitions live.
