MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk's Fredrik Pettersson was named best forward of the final, 24th, week of the KHL 9th regular season, BelTA has learned.
The Swedish forward scored four goals in his three appearances during the week against Ak Bars, Neftekhimik and Lada. Alexander Yeremenko (Dynamo Moscow) was named best goaltender of the week. Grigory Panin (CSKA) became the best defenseman, while Metallurg Novokuznetsk forward Artyom Mikheyev was named the best rookie.
After a morning training session on 20 February Dinamo Minsk players and the coaching staff met with Chairman of HC Dinamo Minsk Supervisory Council Igor Shunevich, who praised the team's performance and results. After the meeting the Belarusian team headed for Yaroslavl where they are set to play their first playoff match on 21 February.
