European Games Minsk 2019 website now supports adaptive design

MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – minsk2019.by, the dedicated website of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019, now supports adaptive design, the press service of the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC) told BelTA.

To update the website, MEGOC has worked together with Synesis Sport Company, the official developer of the hardware and software part of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019. Thanks to the update the dedicated website will be easier to use and more convenient.

According to Yulia Gorelik, head of the Internet services division at Synesis Sport, the number of visitors the website attracts rises as the date of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 draws closer. The amount of new content and functions grows larger every day. “This is why we've tried to improve the main page, drawing attention to the main blocks, adding sections and additional links in the menu. We believe that users of the updated website will be able to save time and find the information they want faster,” she said. Besides, the website has become brighter and more recognizable thanks to the official symbols. The website also supports adaptive design, which changes the layout of the web pages to deliver information to phones, tablets, or notebooks in the best way possible on each device.

The 2nd European Games will take place in Minsk on 21-30 June 2019. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete in about 200 medal events in 15 sports. Competitions in ten sports will be qualifiers for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
