MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) – Two goals from Matt Ellison helped Dinamo Minsk secure a 4-1 victory over the visiting Ugra Khanty-Mansiysk in the KHL action on 26 January, BelTA has learned.
The Bisons made a fast start, with Matt Ellison opening the scoring in the third minute. Nikita Dvurechensky tied the game at 8:15 of the second.
The final stanza proved to be the moment for the home team, with Matt Ellison getting his second of the night in the 47th minute. Two more goals came from Dinamo defensemen. Roman Graborenko made it 3-1 and Kirill Gotovets completed the scoring with his powerful shot from the blue line in the 55th minute.
With 87 points after 51 games Dinamo Minsk holds tight to the sixth place in the West. The Bisons next play Barys on 28 January.
