MINSK, 3 August (BelTA) - Belarus world number 301 Egor Gerasimov lost his quarterfinal game 1-6, 1-6 to Argentine's world number 4 Juan Martin del Potro at the ATP Los Cabos Open 2018 in Mexico, BelTA informs.
The Belarusian defeated Australia's world number 153 Bernard Tomic 6-4, 6-3 in the opener and battled through U.S. world number 28 Sam Querrey 7-5, 5-7, 7-6 (8-6) in the second round.
In Austria's Kitzbuhel Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Austria's Philipp Oswald are to finish their quarterfinal game against the Argentinean-Italian duet of Federico Delbonis and Daniele Bracciali. Max Mirnyi and Philipp Oswald lost the first set 5-7. The game was stopped during the second set, with Belarus leading 4-1.
Belarus' world number 108 Victoria Azarenka will take on U.S. world number 42 Danielle Rose Collins in the San Jose 2018 quarterfinal.
