MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) – Belarus world number 301 Egor Gerasimov has progressed to the second round of the ATP Los Cabos Open 2018 in Mexico, BelTA informs.
In the opener the Belarusian defeated Australia's world number 153 Bernard Tomic 6-4, 6-3. Egor Gerasimov will next face U.S. world number 28 Sam Querrey.
At the San Jose 2018 opener in the United States Belarus' world number 69 Vera Lapko saw off China's world number 32 Zhang Shuai 7-6 (7-2), 6-0, while Belarus world number 108 Victoria Azarenka beat Ukraine's world number 56 Kateryna Bondarenko 6-3, 6-7 (7-9), 7-5.
