Domracheva wins Holmenkollen pursuit

MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – Darya Domracheva of Belarus won the Women's 12.5K Pursuit at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 8 in Holmenkollen, Norway, BelTA informs.

The four-time Olympic champion missed two shots to come in first in 30:37.4. Anastasiya Kuzmina of Slovakia, with four penalties, finished second, 9.2 seconds back. Susan Dunklee of the USA, with two penalties, finished third, 29.5 seconds back.

Nadezhda Skardino of Belarus missed one target to finish 12th, 56.1 seconds behind the winner.

After clinching the Women's Relay champion title and the Women's Mass Start silver at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, Darya Domracheva won the Women's 7.5km Sprint at BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 7 in Kontiolahti and the Women's 12.5K Pursuit at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 8 in Holmenkollen, Norway.

The Belarusian goes third in the total score.

The BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup 9 will take place in Tyumen, Russia on 22-25 March.
