MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) – FC Dinamo Minsk defeated Czech Viktoria Plzen 1-0 in their UEFA Europa League final home fixture on 26 November. It is the first win for the Minskers in this tournament, BelTA informs.
Nenad Adamovic scored on the rebound after his 93rd-minute spot kick was saved as Dinamo Minsk ended five-game losing streak in Europe and got off the mark in Group E. Dinamo Minsk's last-32 ambitions expired on matchday four.
The Group E standings are as follows: Rapid Wien – 12 points (four games played), Villarreal – 9 (4), Viktoria Plzen – 3 (5), Dinamo Minsk – 3 (5).
In the final Group E game on 10 December Dinamo Minsk will face Rapid Wien while Viktoria Plzen will host Villarreal.
