Dinamo Minsk take overtime win over Avtomobilist

MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Marc-Andre Gragnani scored 29 seconds into overtime to give HC Dinamo Minsk a 5-4 win over Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the KHL action at Minsk Arena on 24 January, BelTA has learned.

The home team led twice in the first period thanks to goals from Yevgeny Lisovets and Matt Ellison. Artyom Gareyev scored for Yekaterinburg in between. Then, the Bisons fell behind in the 25th minute when Michal Cajkovsky and Alexei Mikhnov took advantage of a five-on-three power play to score twice in 18 seconds.

Marc-Andre Gragnani's assists later helped Aaron Palushaj to equalize and also Roman Graborenko for his go-ahead goal. Alexander Torchenyuk's late goal from the blue line opened the door into an extra period.

Now, with 84 points after 50 games Dinamo Minsk sit sixth in the West. The Bisons will next face Ugra on 26 January.
