Dinamo Minsk rebound with shootout win over Severstal

MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – Alexander Materukhin scored the only goal in a shootout and Ben Scrivens did the rest as HC Dinamo Minsk rebounded from the previous two defeats for a 4-3 victory over Severstal Cherepovets in the KHL action on 15 October, BelTA has learned.

Daniil Vovchenko and Vojtech Polak gave Severstal a 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game. Artur Gavrus and Alexander Pavlovich tied it up in the second. The Cherepovets team leapt in front once again thanks to Dmitry Kagarlitsky, just before Alexander Kulakov forced overtime.

With 34 points after 18 games the Bisons go sixth in the Western Conference table. Craig Woodcroft's men will next play HC Sochi on 17 October.
