MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk secured a solid 8-3 win over the visiting Lada Togliatti in the KHL action on 14 February, BelTA has learned.
The home team opened up a 2-0 lead early on through Aaron Palushaj and Ilya Shinkevich, but Andrei Ivanov scored twice to tie the scores before the first intermission.
In the middle stanza, Palushaj got his second and Evgeny Lisovets made it 4-2, before Semyon Valuisky reduced the deficit. Rob Klinkhammer scored in the 39th and 40th minutes to put his team far ahead, while Fredrik Pettersson added two more in the third period.
The Bisons took an important victory in their contention for a higher place in the Western Conference. The Belarusian team clinched its playoff berth of the 9th KHL season and now goes sixth in the West with 103 points after 58 games.

Dinamo Minsk will next face Neftekhimik on 16 February and wrap up the regular season against Ak Bars on 18 February.
