MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk beat Slovan Bratislava 3-2 in the KHL action on 25 January, BelTA has learned.

With neither team capable of making this season's playoffs, Slovan picked up a first-period lead when Marek Hecl scored on the power play 10 minutes into the game. Dinamo responded midway through the second period through Evgeny Kovyrshin.

At the start of the final stanza 21-year-old Danila Karaban potted his first KHL goal to put Dinamo 2-1 up. One minute later, Quinton Howden added a third, and Slovan called a time-out. 20 seconds later Michal Repik narrowed the gap.

23-year-old goalie Mikhail Karnaukhov (Dinamo Minsk) claimed his first ever KHL victory.

The Bisons have two more games to play in the KHL regular season. After the Olympic Games Gordie Dwyer's men will take on Dinamo Riga on 27 February and wrap up the season against Slovan Bratislava on 1 March.
