Canada's Danny Taylor signs with HC Dinamo Minsk

MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Canadian goalkeeper Danny Taylor has signed a two-season contract with HC Dinamo Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Bisons.

The Canadian athlete joined the team for a tryout in early November and appeared in one game. After the tryout the decision was made to sign a contract with the hockey player.

Danny Taylor played for Dinamo in the 2014/15 season, which is viewed to be one of the most successful seasons in the KHL for the Belarusian team. Apart from HC Dinamo Minsk, the Canadian also played for Los Angeles Kings, Calgary Flames, Ottawa Senators, Hamburg Freezers, Farjestad BK, Medvescak Zagreb, HC Sparta Praha and HC Sibir Novosibirsk.

HC Dinamo Minsk Director General Dmitry Baskov said that the Canadian showed his best during the tryout.

He added that Danny Taylor signed the agreement on very acceptable terms for the Bisons.
