MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – Belarus shows a very high level of ice hockey, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Poland with concurrent accreditation to Belarus Stephen de Boer said in an interview with BelTA.
According to the diplomat, Canada thinks high of ice hockey in Belarus. We believe there are good players here and think of Belarus as a strong state in the area, the Ambassador added.
The Ambassador admitted that he is not a dedicated fan, but he watches the games he believes to be the most important, such as the Stanley Cup finals, the Olympic matches, including both the men's and women's teams.
