Belarusian tennis players reach quarterfinals in Germany, Switzerland

MINSK, 23 May (BelTA) – Belarusian tennis players have progressed to the doubles quarterfinals at the tournaments in Germany and Switzerland, BelTA has learned.

In Geneva, Belarus' Andrei Vasilevsky and Robert Lindstedt of Sweden saw off Germany's Andre Begemann and Croatia's Antonio Sancic 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (11-9) in the round of Last 16.

In Nuremberg, Lidziya Marozava of Belarus and Lesley Kerkhove of the Netherlands beat Russia's Anastasia Komardina and Mandy Minella of Luxembourg 6-2, 3-6, 10-7 to reach the quarterfinal.
