MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) - Belarusian Maryna Zuyeva finished in 6th in the 1500m Ladies Division B at the ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Minsk, BelTA learned.
The Belarusian athlete clocked 2:00.528.
Nao Kodaira of Japan was first with 1:58.376. Nikola Zdrahalova of the Czech Republic was second (1:59.775) and Russia's Daria Kachanova third (2:00.172).
Another Belarusian Anna Kovaleva placed 21st with the result of 2:09.698
Belarusian Aliaksei Kirpichnik was 16th and Vitaly Mikhailov 26th in the Men Mass Start Semi-Finals and did not make it to the finals.
Over 200 athletes from 27 countries are taking part in the ISU Speed Skating World Cup running in Minsk from 15 to 17 November. The organizers are the International Skating Union, Minsk city administration, Sport and Tourism Ministry, Belarusian Skating Union, National Olympic Committee, President's Sports Club, and Minsk Arena.
