Belarus win 20 medals at 2019 European Muaythai Championships in Minsk

MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes claimed 20 medals (five gold, eight silver and seven bronze) at the 2019 European Muaythai Championships which took place at the Minsk Palace of Sports, BelTA has learned.

Gold medals were clinched by Nikolai Svedomsky (57kg), Daniil Yermolenko (60kg), Maksim Petkevich (63.5kg), Andrei Kulebin (71kg), and Dmitry Valent (86kg).

Silver medals were claimed by Nikita Mironchik (51kg), Sagif Gasanov (54kg), Dmitry Varets (67kg), Nikita Shostak (81kg), Anastaia Kalashnikova (48kg), Darya Belkova (60kg), Mariya Valent (63.5kg), and Mariya Belush (75kg).

Bronze medals were taken by Vitaly Gurkov (75kg), Andrei Gerasimchuk (+91kg), Svetlana Spetsian (45kg), Lyudmila Chislova (51kg), Aleksandra Sitnikova (67kg), Varvara Danilova (71kg), and Diana Yemelyanova (+75kg).

Taking part in the competitions were more than 520 athletes from 26 countries.
