MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – More efforts will be poured into information support for preparations for the 2019 European Games and the actual course of the games, representatives of the Belarusian Information Ministry told BelTA.
The relevant instructions have been issued to government agencies and organizations, including organizations located abroad, as a result of the latest session of the subcommittee on information support, advertising, and mass media of the national committee in charge of organizing the 2019 European Games. The session chaired by Information Minister Alexander Karlyukevich took place at the ministry on 21 March. Representatives of leading national mass media, the National Olympic Committee of Belarus, the 2019 European Games Directorate, a number of ministries and government agencies took part in the session.
Participants of the session discussed ways to step up the coverage of preparations and organization of the 2019 European Games in Minsk, the implementation of the program designed to get Belarusians involved in preparations for and the actual games, the organization and operation of press centers in the sport facilities where the sport events will take place, the organization of accreditation of reporters who will cover the 2019 European Games, and many other things.
