Belarus to choose temporary infrastructure supplier for 2019 European Games

MINSK, 10 May (BelTA) – The Directorate of the 2nd European Games MINSK 2019 has launched a market research and is accepting price proposals with a view to selecting the general contractor to supply temporary infrastructure for the 2nd European Games, BelTA learned from the press service of the directorate.

On its website the directorate has posted the technical design specifications for temporary infrastructure. The supplier shall comply with these standards while planning, delivering (rental), installing and maintaining the infrastructure at the time of the tournament and dismantling temporary infrastructure.

Applications shall be open till 21 May 2018. The applicants shall send their proposals by email (n.shavel@minsk2019.by) or by mail to the following address: Directorate of the 2nd European Games MINSK 2019, Office 502,103 Pobeditelei Avenue, Minsk, 220020, Republic of Belarus.

Minsk will host the 2nd European Games on 21-30 June 2019. The Games will feature 15 sports: badminton, 3x3 basketball, boxing, wrestling(freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, women's wrestling), cycling (track and road), gymnastics (artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatics, aerobics, and trampoline), rowing (kayak and canoe competitions), judo, karate, track and field athletics, sambo, archery, shooting (including clay target shooting), table tennis, and beach football. Athletes will compete in more than 200 medal events in 23 sport disciplines.
