Belarus' Tatiana Kholodovich wins women's javelin in Turku

MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) - Tatiana Kholodovich of Belarus won the women's javelin at the 2017 IAAF World Challenge meeting in Turku, Finland, BelTA has learned.

The 2016 European champion won the event with a stadium record of 65.03m. Australia's Kelsey-Lee Roberts threw a personal best of 64.06m to finish second. Olympic silver medalist Sunette Viljoen of the South Africa was third with 61.54m.

Earlier, Tatiana Kholodovich won at the IAAF World Challenge meeting in Hengelo, the Netherlands.

Tatiana Kholodovich's best achievement this season so far is the victory at the IAAF Diamond League in Eugene where she threw her javelin 66.30m.
