Belarus' Stankevich, Kaladzinskaya out of 2019 World Wrestling Championships

MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – Belarus' Kseniya Stankevich (50kg) and Vanesa Kaladzinskaya (53kg) completed their run at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships in Kazakhstan, missing out on the chance to win medals and Olympic berths, BelTA has learned.

After defeating Kseniya Stankevich, Valentina Islamova Brik of Kazakhstan lost her semifinal bout to Romania's Alina Vuc. China's Qianyu Pang that defeated Vanesa Kaladzinskaya lost to Yong Mi Pak of North Korea.

2019 European Games champion Iryna Kurachkina (57kg) will face Turkey's Elif Jale Yesilэrmak on 18 September. Katsiaryna Hanchar-Yanushkevich (59kg) will take on India's Pooja Dhanda.

Vasilisa Marzalyuk (76kg) will face Brazil's Aline Ferreira.
