Belarus' Stanislav Gladchenko 6th in Men's Aerials in PyeongChang

PYEONGCHANG, 19 February (BelTA) – Stanislav Gladchenko of Belarus failed to land on the Men's Aerials podium after deciding to perform the routine with the difficulty coefficient of 4.900 at the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang on 18 February, BelTA informs.

The first part of Stanislav Gladchenko's performance was perfect, but he fell in the landing and scored only 92.61 points to finish 6th.

The event was won by Ukraine's Oleksandr Abramenko who scored a total of 128.51 points. Silver went to Jia Zongyang of China (128.05). Ilya Burov of Russia scored 122.17 to take bronze.

Maksim Gustik finished 18th in the qualification. 2014 Sochi Olympic champion Anton Kushnir did not make it into the finals due to a controversial decision of the judges.

Anna Guskova of Belarus claimed the champion title in the Ladies' Aerials on 16 February.
