Belarus' Radik Kuliyev wins silver medal at World Wrestling Championships in Paris

MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) –Belarus' Radik Kuliyev (80kg) has won a silver medal at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships in Paris, BelTA has learned.

On the way to the final the Belarusian defeated Daniel Tihomirov Alexandrov of Bulgaria, Ashkhat Dilmukhamedov of Kazakhstan, Elvin Mursaliyev of Azerbaijan.

In the final the Belarusian Greco-Roman wrestler lost to Maksim Manukyan of Armenia.

The silver medal of Radik Kuliyev has become the only medal for Belarus at his competition. Kazbek Kilov (75kg) and Kirill Grishchenko (130kg) finished fourth.
