Belarus PM: Facilities built for European Games will be in demand in the future

MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – Facilities, which are being built for the 2nd European Games, will be actively used afterwards, Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Rumas said as he visited the Student Village in Minsk on 8 December, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian government.

“All the facilities that are being built for the European Games, as well as the equipment of temporary infrastructure should be actively used in the future,” Sergei Rumas said.

The Belarusian head of government got familiar with the infrastructure and visited the Ice Palace, supposed to be used as a catering facility for the participants of the 2nd European Games. Sergei Rumas heard out a report of Minsk Mayor Anatoly Sivak on the planned preparation of the facility. A proposal was made to set up a separate covered air-supporting structure for these needs in the village. Later, it can be used as a football arena. The prime minister instructed to look into the matter.
