MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – The Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus made a decision during its meeting on 16 May to put forward a suggestion to NOC President Alexander Lukashenko to hold the Olympic Assembly on 30 May, BelTA learned from the NOC press service.
The participants of the meeting approved of the decision for the Belarusian NOC to make one of the founders of the Directorate of the Second European Games 2019 fund. The proposals of the federations regarding the candidates for IOC Tokyo 2020 Olympic Solidarity scholarships were also considered at the meeting.
