Belarus' Extraleague national team to play two friendlies against China's Olympic team

MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian Extraleague national team will play two friendlies against the Chinese Olympic team, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.

The games are scheduled for 22-23 March. The Belarusian team will comprise 21 players, including goaltender Roman Bobariko, defensemen Dmitry Deryabin, Vladislav Gabrus, forwards Vsevolod Kashkar Maksim Valkov.

The Chinese team will include players from the KHL (Kontinental Hockey League), VHL (Supreme Hockey League) and MHL (Junior Hockey League).

The games will be held as part of the Belarus-China agreements to popularize ice hockey. China's Beijing will host the 24th Winter Olympic Games in February 2022.
