MINSK, 13 August (BelTA) – Belarus' world number 36 Aliaksandra Sasnovich has reached the main draw at the Western & Southern Open 2018, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian defeated her fellow countrywoman Vera Lapko (World No.66) 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 in the second qualifying round.
Apart from Aliaksandra Sasnovich, the main draw will feature world number 95 Victoria Azarenka, who will take on Spain's world number 27 Carla Suarez Navarro, and Aryna Sabalenka that will play British world number 43 Johanna Konta.
