Belarus 8th in Women's Relay in Ruhpolding

MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian team of Nadezhda Skardino, Nadezhda Pisareva, Darya Domracheva and Irina Krivko finished 8th in the Women's Relay at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in Ruhpolding on 12 January.

Germany won the race in 1:09:53, with six spare rounds. France claimed second, with seven spares, 3.5 seconds back. Bronze went to Norway, with a single spare, 4.5 seconds back.

Belarus crossed the finish line 2:39.0 behind the winner. Darya Domracheva showed good speed on the track to hold sixth position for Belarus in the third leg. The biathlete needed three spares in the standing. In the final leg, Irina Krivko managed to keep the team in the top ten.

The BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 5 in Ruhpolding will continue with the Men's 10K Sprint on 13 January and the Women's 7.5K Sprint on 14 January.
