Anna Guskova 4th in FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup at Deer Valley

MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) – Anna Guskova of Belarus finished one step from the podium at the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup event at Deer Valley, the United States, BelTA has learned.

After the first attempt in the final Anna Guskova was third with 88.83 points. In the second attempt fourth-placed Danielle Scott of Australia performed great to climb to the second position. Anna Guskova scored 81.49 points in her second attempt to finish fourth. Zhang Xin topped the standings, with Ashley Caldwell of the United States finishing third.

Alexandra Romanovskaya of Belarus finished 12th.

In the men's aerials event Maxim Gustik of Belarus was ninth. Piotr Medulich of Russia won the event, with Ukaine's Oleksander Abramenko and Japan's Naoya Tabara finishing second and third consequently.

The next FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup event will take place in Moscow on 13 February. On 20 February the world's best aerials skiers will perform at the Olympic sport center Raubichi. The final event will be held in Sierra Nevada, Spain on 27 February.
