About 4,000 athletes to compete in International Martial Arts Games in Minsk

MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) - About 4,000 athletes will participate in the 7th International Martial Arts Games which will take place in Minsk from 1 to 3 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Sport and Tourism Ministry of Belarus.

Minsk Arena will host the opening ceremony on 1 December featuring famous martial arts athletes. The competition will take place in 16 martial arts, including the most popular ITF Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, grappling, Muay Thai and others. The events will be held in the Minsk Arena velodrome, the athletics arena of the University of Physical Education, Uruchye sports center and Chizhovka Arena.

The organizers of the 7th International Martial Arts Games are the Sport and Tourism Ministry, Minsk City Hall, the President's Sports Club and the Belarusian Taekwondo League
