Youngest Iranian author unveils book

Tehran, 22 May, (BelTA - IRNA) - The book of the youngest Iranian author who is only a 7-year-old Seyyed Rastin Fayazi themed “Ashi ke sanjab baraye gorg pokht (The trap set by squirrel for the wolf)” was unveiled at the 31th international book fair in Tehran, it was announced on Tuesday.

The young author grabbed his first ever prize from district one of the educational ministry in Tehran, said Director of Aftab Andishe Rooz institute Nasrin Babaei.

The theme of the book is fantasy which is suitable for the B age category.

She also added that the book was illustrated by well-known illustrator Mohamadreza Mir Shah Valad.

Babaei also mentioned that there were kids who published their books before, but Fayazi, who wrote the book at the age of 7, could hit the record of the youngest Iranian author.

She also stated that she is trying to register him as the youngest writer in the book of records.

The little writer of the book in an interview with IRNA briefed the story which is a challenge between a squirrel caught by a wolf in a heavy rain in the jungle, but finally make friends.

Rastin says he reads all types of books for hours and never misses the opportunity to enjoy reading books.

The book is published in 16 illustrated pages in 1,000 copies
