MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – Belarus gives well-reasoned answers to every complaint filed by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) about Belarusian milk, representatives of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry told BelTA.
The source said: “The Belarusian side continues giving well-reasoned answers to all complaints of [the Russian food quality watchdog] Rosselkhoznadzor”. A multitier system to control the quality of milk — raw materials and end products — is in place in Belarus.
BelTA reported earlier that Rosselkhoznadzor postponed the introduction of a ban on milk deliveries from Belarus to 15 March. Initially the Russian agency intended to ban imports from Belarus on 26 February. The initial date was later changed to 6 March.More about Society
