Vitebskoblavtotrans drivers 3rd at professional skills contest in St Petersburg

MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – Bus drivers of the Vitebskoblavtotrans company finished third at the 20th open competition of professional skills in St Petersburg, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Russia.

The competition was held at St Petersburg bus park No.2. The skills of driving 12m and 18m-long buses were demonstrated by representatives of ten Russian regions, and also Minsk and Vitebsk. The first two places were occupied by drivers from St Petersburg. The third position was taken by representatives of the Vitebskoblavtotrans company Artyom Bykov and Vladimir Katorets.

The opening ceremony of the competition was attended by St Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko.

The best drivers were presented with diplomas, medals and valuable prizes from the organizers of the event.
