GRODNO, 24 May (BelTA) – A traditional Chinese medicine center of Gansu Province has been registered in the Belarusian city of Grodno, BelTA learned from the economy committee of Grodno City Hall.
The venture with Chinese capital was established by Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The center will be located on the premises of the child health center in Dovatora Street. Once the repair works are finished, the traditional Chinese medicine center will be providing outpatient care, specialty medical training and other healthcare services. It is likely that Chinese specialists will come to work at the center.
“The center has been set up as part of the implementation of directive No.5 “Concerning the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China,” Grodno City Hall representatives explained.
Belarus' Grodno Oblast and China's Gansu Province are working to implement bilateral agreements and the 2014-2020 program for cooperation in different areas signed in 2014. Besides, there is a twinning agreement between Grodno and Longnan, a city in Gansu Province.
