MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) – A huge logo of the online game World of Tanks appeared on a training field near Borisov, BelTA learned from the Wargaming video game developer.
“Members of the Belarusian Armed Forces promptly responded to the extraordinary work done by machine operator Yuri Belykh from Krasnodar who created a World of Tanks logo measuring 216x158 meters on a field with a tractor. Today a giant WoT logo was drawn by two T-72 tanks on a training field near Borisov,” the company noted.
The 300-meter-long and 200-meter-wide logo was designed by Senior Lieutenant Dmitry Pozniak from the 72nd Guards Joint Training Center of the Belarusian Armed Forces, an avid WoT player (under the nickname "pozniak342TB").
He said he was impressed with the idea of the online tanker from Krasnodar. “I showed the photos of his logo to my comrades. We then decided to make a similar one with the tanks on the training field. This is our way to support our team competing in the tank biathlon and congratulate the players with the game's seventh anniversary,” Dmitry Pozniak remarked.
