TUZLA, 30 July (BelTA - FENA) - Floods and landslides occurred due to heavy rains on Friday and Saturday in the Tuzla area, in the local communities Simin Han, Požarnica and part of the local community of Gornja Tuzla, and the state of natural disaster has been declared.
According to the Civil Protection Service report, which intervened on the ground immediately in the aftermath of the flooding, stated that the damages in these local communities are even greater than in 2014 floods.
The Civil Protection Service in Tuzla decided that the protection and rescue services continue with the activities to eliminate the consequences of flooding and provide assistance to citizens and businesses, which, among other things, includes removal of deposited land and large waste, disinfection of space and facilities, as well as faster recovery of communal facilities in the field and emergency landslide rehabilitation.
