MINSK, 21 September (BelTA) – The first few trains are about to leave Belarus in order to carry Russian participants of the Zapad 2017 army exercise to their permanent stations in Russia, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The source said: “Today the first few trains of Russian participants of the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2017 will leave [Belarus] for Russia. Weapons, military and special hardware are being loaded onto trains now.”
All the Belarusian and Russian army units, which were involved in the Zapad 2017 exercise, will return to their permanent stations by 30 September.
