MOSCOW, 22 May (BelTA) – The 13th edition of the festival “The Youth for the Union State” will take place in Russia's Rostov-on-Don from 12 to 17 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union State.
On 22 May Rostov-on-Don hosted a meeting to discuss the organization of the festival. The festival events will take place not only in the regional center but also in the cities of the region: Taganrog and Shakhty. “The program of the festival will include many activities: meetings with MPs of Belarus and Russia, young Union State parliamentarians, master classes, creative competitions, quizzes and sporting events. The main event will be the international singing competition featuring 20 talented representatives of regions of Belarus and Russia,” the press service noted.
Participating in the festival will be young people aged from 16 to 25: singers, musicians, dance, vocal, instrumental and circus groups and also representatives of non-governmental organizations from different regions of Belarus and Russia.
