Reporters promised access to three army exercise areas in Belarus during Zapad 2017

MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – During the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2017 reporters will be able to be access the army exercise areas Ruzhansky, Osipovichsky, and Domanovo, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

According to the source, mass media representatives will be able to travel to the army exercise areas of Ruzhansky, Osipovichsky, and Domanovo where combat actions will be practiced.

An air force strike will be practiced in the Ruzhansky exercise area on 17 September. A defensive operation will be practiced in the Osipovichsky exercise area on 18 September. The next day air defense units will practice protecting the skies in the Domanovo exercise area.

Press releases, information materials, photos and videos about the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2017 will be released by the Belarusian Defense Ministry website, the website dedicated specifically to covering the Zapad 2017 exercise, and the website of the ministry's television company VoyenTV.

Apart from that, as from 14 September a Defense Ministry spokesman will brief reporters on a daily basis about the tasks practiced on every day of the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2017 at the end of each day.
