Remains of WW2 soldiers found in Bobruisk District

MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – Remains of soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War were discovered near the village of Boyary, Bobruisk District. The information about it was posted on the website of the State Forensic Examination Committee, BelTA has learned.

The remains were found by workers who dismantled an old phone cable. An investigation team that included an expert of the local bureau of the State Forensic Examination Committee arrived at the scene.

The findings included casings with text information that will allow indentifying the perished soldiers. Other findings include coins dating back to 1936, a compass, bullets, household items. On-site examination continues.
